Covid - 19 Update

Davis Dentistry will resume practice operations in compliance with relevant Executive Orders on Monday May 4th. We will continue to employ the enhanced cleaning and infection control protocols we implemented in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.  We want to provide our patients and team members with the safest possible healthcare environment.

Our practice will be screening all patients and visitors to our offices. At Davis Dentistry team member will ask each patient/visitor a few travel-related and health screening questions, both prior to their appointment and upon arrival in our office; patients’ and visitors’ temperatures will be checked with a temporal thermometer. We are asking all patients to arrive 5 min. prior to their scheduled appointment. Patients who are at high risk for COVID-19, as determined by our office, will likely have their visit rescheduled. If you’re not feeling well, please contact us to reschedule, whenever possible, in advance of your visit.

All team members will be surveyed daily to ensure adherence with social distancing standards and status of their health. All team members will be in masks (or scarves for non-clinical team members). Importantly, all personnel in our offices will complete COVID-19 testing with the IGG antibody test as soon as we receive our supply of test kits (within 2 weeks).  The IGG test determines both the acute presence of the virus and whether our team members were exposed to COVID-19 previously.

Additionally, to reduce the risk of transmission to our patients and team members, as well as their families, the office has installed 4 very powerful HEPA h13 air filters.  These filters will remove all bacteria, viruses and VOCS down to the .3 microns keeping our working environment safe!

We appreciate your support of these infection control measures.  Your oral health is vital to your overall wellness and your ability to resist the impact of COVID-19, so we encourage you, if healthy, to maintain your regularly scheduled hygiene appointments with Dr. Davis and our practice.

In good health,

Dr. Davis and Team

Meet Priscilla - Our Office Manager

Priscilla- Office Manager at Davis DentistryAlthough I grew up in Sante Fe, New Mexico, I have always dreamed of visiting my extended family in Cadiz, Spain.  I moved to Phoenix and met my husband twenty six years ago, and then we began our own family here.  We now have three beautiful children who keep us busy.  I enjoy going to the gym, swimming, painting ceramics, and going on dates with my husband.

I have been interested in the anatomy of people’s teeth, and the effect of teeth on people’s lives, ever since I was a child.  I was very embarrassed by my own snaggle tooth, but was fortunate to have a dentist uncle who was able to fix my smile.  I had always felt that my ugly tooth was the first thing people looked at, and it was such a wonderful feeling to be able to finally smile!  I think that your confidence in your teeth will crossover into so many other areas of your life, allowing you to light up the whole room with your smile.  To this day, it still encourages me when patients come in for a smile makeover and leave with a renewed sense of self-confidence.

Meet Tabatha - Our Patient Coordinator

Tabatha - Patient Coordinator

I have lived in Arizona my whole life. I was born and raised in Phoenix. I Have 5 siblings and I’m the youngest out of all of them. I graduated from Shadow Mountain High School and I am now currently going to Phoenix College for Dental Hygiene. I’ve wanted to become a Hygienist for a few years now because I’m passionate about dentistry and the importance of oral health.  I love helping others and want to be able to make a difference in someone’s life. I think educating others on the benefits of good dental hygiene has a huge impact.

For my free time I love spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy anything outdoors. I love working out and hiking up north in Sedona.  One dream of mine is to get the opportunity to travel Europe and explore. During summer breaks I love to go California and relax on the beach. I’m excited to be working with such an amazing group of individuals within the office. I look forward to the day I’m behind the chair doing what I love.

Rhonda - Lead Dental Assistant

Rhonda - Lead Dental AssistantI started my dental career over 20 years ago in sunny southern California. That is also where I became a registered and certified dental assistant. I have done all aspects of dental from Regional management, single office management, insurance biller and as an assistant. My true passion is dental assisting. Helping patients, becoming their friend and making them comfortable is very rewarding to me.

When I’m not working in the dental office, you will find me with my family members. My husband of 17 years, and myself have a son and daughter. You will surely find us on a soccer field, watching movies or enjoying time with our English bulldog, Roxy.

Cherie' - Hygienist

Cherie - HygienistI have lived in Arizona my entire life, spending my childhood in Scottsdale and am now living in Cave Creek.  Growing up as the daughter of a dental technician and as the niece of a local dentist, I have always had my hands in the dental field.  It felt only natural for me to begin my own career as a dental hygienist over thirteen years ago, and I have enjoyed getting to know all of my patients over the years.  One of the reasons I am so excited to be a part of this team is our shared philosophy on individual patient care and stress on continuing education in both technological developments as well as techniques.

I have been happily married to my husband Gary for twelve years, and I am a proud Mommy to my dancing daughter Kaitlyn and soccer son Christian.  When I am not relaxing at home, I'm on the road to wakeboard or scuba diving.

Lori - Hygienist

Lori - HygienistI have been working in the dental field for many years with the last 18 years as a dental hygienist.  I did not know that having my own dental issues as a teenager—with too much spacing between my 2 small front teeth—would lead me into a long lasting dental career.  I have been infatuated with smiles and helping other feel better about their oral health.  It has been a rewarding career and appreciate getting to know patients.  I enjoy learning and keeping up on the latest technology and continuing education in order to address the individual needs of patient care.  I grew up in New York and relocated to Arizona when I was young.  I completed my education with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene at Northern Arizona University.  I have three children who keep me on the run.  A creatively brilliant daughter, a good natured and tender hearted daughter, and a sport addicted son.  When I am not working and tending to them, I enjoy hiking, racquetball, and scuba diving.  Also, I volunteer at my children’s school and their church youth group.

Sarah- Hygienist

Lori - Hygienist

I have lived in Scottsdale, Arizona my whole life, venturing up north to Flagstaff for four years to obtain my Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygiene at Northern Arizona University. I always knew I wanted to work with people after 8 years, and counting, of volunteering for a non-profit youth organization that provides kids with essential social skills to thrive in life. As a dental hygienist, I found a good balance between a job that focuses on improving the overall systemic health of my patients, while being in a social and positive environment. After having my own handful of dental issues growing up, I take pride in being able to help my patients achieve a healthy and beautiful smile.

I spend most of my time outside of work either in the kitchen cooking new recipes with my fiancé Hunter, or trying to work on my green thumb in my garden.
